Bethel Cemetery, the largest in Cedar Township is very close to Bethel Church in Section 9 of the Township. To reach it from the intersection of Highways 34 and 14 at the south edge of Chariton. Drive east on Highway 34 for 7 miles. (The turnoff is 1 mile east of the Russell corner intersection of 34 and 97). Turn left, continue north on the graveled road for 3 miles, then turn right at the T intersection and go east .6 mile to the Bethel Church and cemetery on the north side of the road.
